With the development of China's economy and the improvement of scientific and technological level, insulating materials play an important role. Now China is also one of the largest power consumers. If there is electricity, there must be something insulated, that is, our insulating material - insulating board. The research and development level of insulating materials is one of the key factors that restrict the development of electrical technology. From the perspective of future trends, it is required to develop high-voltage, heat-resistant insulation, solvent-free and pollution-free insulation, composite insulation, corrosion-resistant, water-resistant, oil-resistant, cryogenic, radiation-resistant and flame-retardant materials, and develop energy-saving materials. The key point is to develop epoxy mica insulation system for high voltage and large capacity generators; Class F and H insulation series for small and medium-sized motors; Sulfur hexafluoride gaseous medium for high voltage power transmission and transformation equipment; A new nontoxic synthetic medium replacing chlorinated biphenyls; High performance insulating oil; Synthetic paper composite insulation; Flame retardant rubber and plastic materials and surface protective materials, etc. at the same time, we should actively accelerate the upgrading of insulation materials for traditional electrical equipment.
Insulation materials are more widely used in epoxy insulation board and transformer:
1. high insulation strength: the cast epoxy resin insulation board has an insulation breakdown field strength of 18-22kv/mm, and has roughly the same impact strength as the oil press transformer with the same voltage grade. The insulation grade is f, the maximum allowable temperature is 155 degrees, and the winding temperature rise limit is 100k.
2. insulation level:
a. 6kV power frequency withstand voltage 25kV, impulse withstand voltage 60kV
b. 10kV power frequency withstand voltage 35kV, impulse withstand voltage 75KV
